Jonathan, i was thiking on buying a new cd player but i really don´t know what to buy…i was thinking on pioneer cdj 400 or radius 3000 coudl you help me with a piece of advice?? cus i own a numark axis 9 and it’s a peice of shit to mix the bpm is fckd up, and that put me thinking in what sould i buy, more quality or more features…

How durable radius 1000 is? I hope ders a video with comparison to other players. Im planning to buy this unit by nxt month. can u tell me what are the common problems you encounter with this player after 5 months of use. I hope u can do some video and make a narrow down test with other CDJ’s.

Does anyone know how to calculate the difference between BPM and Pitch. Its because i know the BPM for my songs, but my set measures only in pitch control
can you tell me what is the pitch step in that player? by pitch step i mean the minimum difference between two pitch values.

how can it play 8 midi channels at once?
the radius 2000 got midi control but it wont play cds
its only for usb or midi.

A great thing with these are that you can control your pc dj software _simultaneously_ with a cd playing in the deck.
Tip for you out there who’ll give it a try:
Set the midi mode to ‘dual mode’ ; That’ll say that you’re still controlling the cd’s pitch with the pitch-slider.
Of course you would then have to move the pitch slider in your pc based dj software by utilizing your mouse, or another midi-controller.

The Radius 2000 has it’s midi-switch above the pitchcontrol; right where the eject button is placed on the 1000′s

It seems like the main difference between radius 1000 / 2000 is that radius 1000 got midi, but no sd-card or usb-drive compatibility.
I’m not 100% sure, but i don’t think the Radius 2000 got midi support..

got one question.. there is also a radius 2000 .. i think it got the same functions +sd-crad port and usb port for getting music into it. in germany it’s about 30€ cheaper than the radius 1000.. now which one is better? i think the radius 2000.. but woh knows more??
