thanks for your comment on my blog. I am returning the courtesy by reading your blog and commenting. I am someone who has reasonably natural perfect pitch and can hear a sound and mimick it but it is fascinating to read your suggestion that this can be learned. I assumed that someone who is more or less tone deaf (and I know a few) were that way for a reason of birth!. Thanks again – interesting post. Ash
